Peter Masuoka, a Tribute to all Americans who sacrificed for our Liberty by Alan Murakami
Program: Alan Murakami is a third generation of his family living in Sebastopol. During the pandemic, he wrote a book about his uncle, Peter Masuoka who attended Analy, the JC and was interned in Colorado in 1942. While in camp, he enlisted in the Army and was assigned to the noteworthy 442 Regimental Combat Team. Pete's story is a tribute to all Americans who sacrificed for our liberty.
Alan Murakami bio: Alan Murakami was raised off Laguna Rd and attended local schools, graduating from El Molino in 1976.
After graduating from UC Davis, he worked for many moons as a school psychologist ending his career assigned to West County schools.
He and his lovely wife Renee have two grown sons. He remains active with community endeavors, enjoys his hobbies of gardening and bonsai, and assists his wonderful 94 year old mom.
