An Update on our State Forests by Lathrop Leonard

Lathrop Leonard, a Forest Ecologist for the California State Parks, will speak to us about best forestry practices, including the management of old growth forests, fire prevention and the preservation of wildlife, water and soils.  He resides in Crescent City with his spouse and their children.  He spent is Peace Corp years planting trees in the Sahara.
